When a famous but failing artist invites four of his old art school classmates to his remote mansion for an extended creative retreat, a comical conspiracy of infidelity, murder, mayhem ensues. It’s a fast-paced war of words, wounded egos and revealed jealousies as this group of ridiculously unlikeable, and pretentious artists gather on the final night to unveil their latest creations. Accusations fly when they realize too late that they’ve been brought together for diabolically selfish reasons.
THE INSPIRATION
This one act play is a fast-paced comedy inspired
by the true ordeal of a small group of artists who
were stranded in a vicious blizzard at an artist retreat in
the Green Mountains of Vermont.
Spoiler alert - they were all nice people
and none of them died in real life.
But in this story, they aren't and they
do and for a diabolical reason!
