When a famous but failing artist invites five of his old art school student to HUNGRY HOLLOW HOUSE, for an extended creative retreat, a comical conspiracy of murder and mayhem ensues. It’s a fast-paced war of words, wounded egos and revealed jealousies as this group of ridiculously unlikeable, and pretentious artists gather on the final night to unveil their latest creations. Accusations fly when they realize too late that they’ve been brought together for a diabolically selfish reason.
THE INSPIRATION
This one act play is a fast-paced comedy inspired
by the true ordeal of a small group of artists who
were stranded in a vicious blizzard at an artist retreat in
the Green Mountains of Vermont. Unfortunately, there were no actual murders.
